Spring is in full bloom, and Ventura County is buzzing with exciting events! Whether you’re looking for family-friendly fun, outdoor festivals, or live entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of the top spring events happening in our beautiful coastal region.

1. Spring Wine Walk & Street Fair

๐Ÿ“ Location: Downtown Ventura
Sip and stroll through historic downtown Ventura, where local wineries and breweries offer tastings alongside live music and shopping. The street fair features artisans, food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment.

2. 2nd Annual Spring Arts, Crafts & Antiques Festival

๐Ÿ“ Location: Stagecoach Inn Museum
Enjoy music while shopping at the booths of local artisans in a beautiful setting.

3. Flashlight Egg Hunt at Nine Locations

๐Ÿ“… Date: April 11 | 6 - 9pm
๐Ÿ“ Location: Thousand Oaks

This event is FREE and open to all! Participants will get to hunt for 10 eggs and turn in for a prize. Don't forget to bring your flashlights and baskets!

4. Egg Scramble Easter Egg Hunt

๐Ÿ“… Date: April 19 | 9:30 - 11:30am
๐Ÿ“ Location: Oak Park

The egg hunt is for ages 10 and under (BYOB - Bring Your Own Basket):

    Ages 2 and under at 9:30 a.m.

    Ages 3-5 at 10 a.m.

    Ages 6-7 at 10:30 a.m.

    Ages 8-10 at 11:00 a.m.

Free of charge. Rain cancels the event.

5. Easter Egg Hunt

๐Ÿ“… Date: April 19 | 10 - 1pm
๐Ÿ“ Location: Moorpark

Children will enjoy an event full of Easter fun with age-appropriate egg hunts, photo opps with the Easter Bunny, crafts, carnival games, and attractions (bounce houses, slide, obstacle course, and petting zoo). 

How it works: Bring your favorite basket, collect as many eggs as you can, and turn them all in for a prize! For safety reasons, parents are allowed in hunts only as indicated in the schedule. Strollers and pets are not allowed in any egg hunt. All hunts are age specific. Please note that each hunt has a maximum capacity. A Family Hunt is available toward the end of the event if your hunt is full. Prizes distributed at this event are not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

6. Easter Eggstravaganza Event

๐Ÿ“… Dates: April 19 | 10 - 1pm
๐Ÿ“ Location: Camarillo

Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District presents its Easter Eggstravaganza event. This is a free event and is open to the public, featuring crafts, Easter bunny visits, food trucks, live music, craft vendors and more.

7. Spring "Conejo" Hunt

๐Ÿ“… Dates: April 19 | 1 - 4pm
๐Ÿ“ Location: Stagecoach Inn Museum

Hop over to the Stagecoach Inn Museum for a fun-filled Conejo Hunt! Kids and grandkids can search for hidden "conejos" while exploring historic buildings and meeting costumed docents. With admission, you'll get a map to track bunny sightings and turn it in for a prize! This year, the hunt includes unique metal art "Conejos" by blacksmith Bobby Mensinger, plus adorable baby animals like ducklings, chicks, and bunnies. Snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, enjoy crafts, join a sack race, and dance along to live music. Don't miss this springtime adventure!
